Firstly, thank you for taking your time away from everything else in your world to come and spend a few minutes with me. Welcome to The Cool Calm Collected – I’m so glad we’ve found each other.
As you’ll gather from my ‘Reflections’ on the blog portion of this website, I have a real passion for passing on the hard lessons (and the brilliant, laugh so hard I can’t stand up moments) I’ve been through, in the hope that I can enlighten you to a different perspective on how to approach situations or as I like to call them, ‘moments’ in our journey.
Personally, I’ve been through a lot in my few short years – but I’ll save those gems, or rocks in some cases, for the ‘Reflections’. Here is where I’ll lightly fill you in on my professional background.
I’ve always been linked to the beauty industry. My first ‘real’ career was with Chanel as a Counter Manager (I still hold the record Nationally as the youngest to hold the title!) and Make-Up Artist. I loved it. I loved how grateful my clients were to have my undivided attention in the quest to make them feel like a million bucks – it was easy really, because they were already so beautiful, they just needed someone to remind them. Plus a slick of Chanel rouge is always a great pick-me-up! I gained priceless knowledge in business, customer service, grooming and most importantly people skills.
Many years on, and I’m still well involved in the beauty and luxury brand industry. I feel very fortunate to work with world leading skin management companies, brands and businesses on all levels. My role manages everything from event management and public speaking engagements, client and customer service, retail management and business progression, as well as hands on skincare, customer interaction training and education.
I’ve developed such a diverse skill set, yet it all revolves around making other people feel great within them selves, and I love that I can be part of each and every clients journey. As I work with so many amazing women, I really see how much we tend to beat ourselves up over the way we approach each moment in our lives, and that is where The Cool Calm Collected formed in my mind.
It has now come to life, and I really hope I can prove to you just how lovely you are.
